The Alchemy of the Sacred Valley & Shipibo Plant Medicine.... This retreat strives to alchemize the combined energies of sacred mountain medicine with Shipibo jungle plant medicine into a transformational healing experience. "I'm overjoyed to offer you space at this Andean retreat setting surrounded by sacred high mountains and archeological sites in the Sacred Valley, as an alternative program to the jungle." My Shipibo Maestra likes to offer the Shipibo medicine with me in the mountains. The mountains have a special healing force for her too. She includes the energy of the mountains in her Ikaros and work. The High Andes carry a huge universal wisdom and energy, which I learned to value and connect to over the last years while living in the Sacred Valley. Life here in the Sacred Valley is very comfortable and much easier than in the Amazon Jungle. The high mountains called "APUs" are big teachers and healing forces in the shamanic world. The air in the high mountain area and how energies are unfolding and presenting themselves is quite majestic and very interesting compared with the jungle, which is the original place from the plants we are working with. The Sacred Valley has many ancient ruins and there are unlimited remains and evidence from old times when magic and energy work were a part of the cultures which inhabited this valley. I love to offer our retreats in different magical settings. Each different environment is so unique to one another. The Sacred Valley I have called my home since 2020. I feel very grateful to be able to offer again Retreats in this beautiful magical area. The mountains carry clear air, sprawling views, and majestic locations for reflecting in the Apus, and inspire a different way of connecting to the earth and the whole universe. In the mountains, you can sit on the grass upon the earth and feel the ground close without creepy little creatures crawling over your skin as in the jungle. The mountains hold a safe space that welcomes a certain freedom of being. And it must also be said that it's sometimes nice to have more comfort. There can be value in not having to tackle the challenges of adapting to environments that are home to tropical insects and mosquitos. People often find the mountain environment considerably easier to adapt to than the jungle. Even if it is not the traditional Shipibo medicine setting, I highly value the energy of the mountains and the surrounding sacred sights. The Sacred Valley has a very palpable energy. It's for this reason that it's a wonderful alternative option for me to offer deep medicine work in the form of our Masterplant Retreats. People who know me know that I love the jungle. My appreciation for the Amazon area, where the density of the plants vibrates strongly leads me to continue offering Masterplant Diets in the original place the Amazonian jungle, of course as well.
This special offer is created for previous participants, for people who live in the Sacred Valley, and for those who feel called to deepen their process with Shipibo Medicine while staying in their own private accommodation nearby.
This retreat is a powerful opportunity to practice holding sacred space for yourself in your own home and daily life.
This offer is limited to a maximum of 5 participants.
The ceremonies will be held in a private house within a small, intimate, and family-like setting. Please be aware that this is not a retreat center, but rather a cozy and personal ceremonial space.
This is your oportunity to stay in your own private rental space or home in the Sacred Valley and go deep into the healing and learning with the Masterplants we are offering.
Maestra Juana and her family member will travel to the Sacred Valley and stay there for that period of time to hold the space together with Ute.
This is not a typical retreat offer. It is a small and intimate setting where we meet in ceremony. Ute and the Maestra will be available for individual support throughout the retreat process when needed. Because of the independent housing format, this offer is intended for people who already have some experience holding and guiding their own process between ceremonies.

Ute offers individual 1:1 sessions and talks during the day to provide guidance. She will visit you in your house for that, if wished and needed.

Preparation & Integration - Included
Returner: 3 sessions online or in person
Welcome: 4 sessions online or in person
These sessions last 60 to a maximum of 90 minutes.
At least one Preparation Session is mandatory.
There is also an option to book additional sessions for Preparation and Integration.

Participation Requirements
This home-retreat format is best suited for participants who:

live in the Sacred Valley

are returning True-Journey participants

have previous experience with Shipibo plant medicine

know how to hold their own space between ceremonies while staying in private accommodation

have the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual capacity to guide themselves responsibly

can create and maintain a clean, supportive, and safe personal retreat space at home

are committed to their process with the plants
-
For participants joining a deeper Sama (Plant Dieta), this format is generally only available to those who have previously dieted with us or who have done Plant Diets before.
Independent Accommodation Responsibility
Participants joining with independent accommodation are fully responsible for:

arranging and paying for their own private accommodation
-
ensuring the accommodation is safe, supportive, and suitable for dieta work
-
organizing private transportation to and from ceremonies
-
preparing their own meals according to dieta guidelines
-
maintaining the energetic and physical integrity of their personal retreat space
Ideally, accommodation should be within walking distance of the ceremony space.
Longer drives are not recommended, and during Dieta it is generally not advised to drive yourself.
True-Journey assumes no responsibility for:

accidents or incidents occurring outside of ceremonial space

personal belongings kept in private accommodation

any issues related to the participant’s chosen housing situation
Participants accept full responsibility for their independent living arrangements during the retreat period.
Ute offers help in the preparation time, if you have any questions. Also Ute offers to take care about one food delivery the week to your home (no including food expenses).
Home Dieta Guidelines
You must remain in the ceremonial space until the following morning.
Maestra Juana requests that participants do not leave while still under the influence of the medicine. Once daylight comes, and if you feel grounded and safe, you may return to your accommodation.
Food is not included in this offer.
You are responsible for preparing your own meals according to the dieta guidelines.
Depending on whether you are participating in Ayahuasca ceremonies or a deeper Sama (Plant Dieta), slightly different guidelines apply, which we will discuss personally.
It is essential that you remain committed to staying within your own energetic field and respecting the retreat container.
This includes:

avoiding crowded places
-
abstaining from sex
-
not taking drugs, medications, or other plant medicines unless previously discussed
-
following all food dieta restrictions
-
avoiding unnecessary travel, markets, colectivos, or public transportation
-
minimizing outside distractions and maintaining a clean energetic space
You will be energetically connected to a ceremonial field shared with participants living onsite.
Not respecting the guidelines may affect the entire ceremonial container.
If the guidelines are not followed, there will be a conversation with Ute to restore alignment and clarity. In serious cases, participation may be ended without refund.
Medical Responsibility, Pre-Dieta & Post-Dieta Compliance
Participants confirm that they are physically, mentally, and emotionally stable enough to participate in ceremonies and/or plant dietas.
Participants confirm that they have answered the questionnaire honestly and that they have informed Ute about all relevant medical history. All relevant information must be communicated in advance.
Participants confirm that they agree to follow the Medical Guidelines as well as the Pre- and Post-Dieta Guidelines.
Payment & Reservation Policy
Your spot is only reserved after the application process is completed, the 20-minute call has taken place, and the decision to move forward together has been made.

How did you (Ute) choose the Shipibo Healer for the retreats?
With each of our Shipibo Healers I have done many months of Diets (Shipibo Plant Diets). I tested each of our healers by myself. I learned to trust each of them while I went by myself in deep own processes. By each one I felt guided and held very well over the years of working and learning with them. There were many challenges along the path so far and always I received support from them.
