Personalised Yoga & Meditation for Plant Medicine Preparation & Integration

There is no one-size-fits-all practice for this kind of work. What each person receives through plant medicine is unique to them — and the embodied practice that supports its integration should reflect that.
True Journey collaborates with Charlotte, who designs completely individualised yoga and meditation programs built around your specific process with the plants. Her work is available online, making it accessible wherever you are in the world before and after your retreat.

Why an Embodied Practice Matters

Introducing a contemplative, embodied practice — even a short one — in the lead-up to a retreat begins to develop something essential: the capacity to notice what is present without immediately reacting to it.
In preparation, this can start to reveal what the body and mind are already carrying — what may be asking for clarity or release through the work with the plants, and what intentions are forming beneath the surface.
During ceremony, the same capacity for presence becomes a steadying resource. When the medicine is active and things become challenging, the breath and mindfulness tools are already familiar. They are available.
In integration, this practice becomes the container through which insights land in the body and translate into lasting change — new habits of response, released patterns of behaviour, a different way of moving through daily life.

Two Offerings
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)
TCTSY is a certified clinical treatment for complex trauma and chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD. Charlotte is certified to deliver this treatment under clinical supervision.
This option is recommended for those with a diagnosis they are seeking to address, or where symptoms have become life-limiting. It is always delivered live — one-to-one or to small groups — via Zoom.
Participants who have been on retreat together and want to move through integration as a group can book TCTSY sessions together.
Bespoke Embodied Practice
A completely individualised yoga and meditation program, designed collaboratively with Charlotte and built around your plant medicine process. Woven through with the specific experiences, insights, energies, and intentions that have emerged in your work — so that integration happens at the somatic level, not only in the mind.
Once designed, the practice is yours. Charlotte recommends committing to it daily for an initial forty-day period — long enough to engage the neurophysiological kindling effect, in which repeated positive actions strengthen the neural pathways associated with new behaviours, making them more automatic and sustainable.
This program can be adapted to be trauma-sensitive where needed, and is delivered entirely online.

About Charlotte

Charlotte is a True Journey co-facilitator and retreat teacher who has worked alongside Ute at the Sacred Valley retreats. Her background spans trauma-sensitive yoga, somatic practice, mindfulness, and plant medicine integration support.
She brings precision and care to her work — and a deep understanding of what plant medicine asks of the body and nervous system, having accompanied many participants through the retreat process directly.

When to Begin
Charlotte's sessions are available at any point in your True Journey process — before, during the retreat period, or in the weeks and months of integration that follow.
For preparation, beginning four to eight weeks before your retreat gives enough time to establish a practice and start noticing what the body is already working with.
For integration, beginning as soon as possible after returning home supports the translation of ceremony insights into daily life before they begin to fade.
All sessions are delivered online via Zoom.
