About True-Journey
True-Journey was created in January 2018 with the intention of supporting people on their path of finding truth, alignment, and integrity in life.
This is why I chose the name "True-Journey."
True-Journey has four pillars
1. Shipibo Masterplant Diets & Ayahuasca Retreats in Peru
2. Preparation for and Integration of experience with Sacred Plant Medicine
3. 1:1 Mentoring and Coaching: Accompanying people through times of transformation and healing. A blend of psycho-spiritual inquiry, somatic exploration, energy awareness training, and the alignment of your inner and outer life. Together, we explore your experience, and I offer tools and guidance to help you unlock your potential, live more aligned with who you truly are, and expand your awareness on different levels.
4. Facilitator Training — specifically designed for Shipibo plant students interested in guiding others on this journey. I provide a space to discover your gifts and define your role as a facilitator.
In January 2018, I had been learning and studying in the Shipibo Tradition for two to three years. During that time I experienced an immense, life-changing process through the plant wisdom, the work of my Shipibo Healers, and my own integration journey. My wish was born to share this beautiful sacred path — with sacred plant medicine embedded in the Shipibo Tradition — for as long as we have these old healers here on the planet.
I started organizing and facilitating Masterplant Dietas and Ayahuasca Retreats in the Peruvian Amazon, where I mainly lived. My Shipibo Maestras and Maestros agreed and welcomed working together. This was the first pillar of True-Journey.
The importance of preparation and integration is clear when we decide to connect with these powerful plant energies. It is part of the healing and transformation process. The second pillar — Preparation & Integration Coaching — was born alongside the retreats. During the same time, I completed a certification as an Integration Coach.
Healing, learning, and transformation always require us to integrate new experiences and awakenings into our daily being and doing. Throughout my journey I learned that having a mentor knowledgeable in psychology, somatic awareness, and spirituality can be invaluable. This became the third pillar — mentoring and coaching in the realm of Sacred Plant Medicine, as well as for those who are not working with plant medicine at all.
The fourth pillar "Facilitator Training for longtherm TJ participants" took shape in 2022, when long-term students asked me to create space for teaching and the opportunity to practice and discover one's unique role as a facilitator.
With True-Journey, I want to provide a compassionate space for healing and learning. Let's learn, grow, and heal together. Let's remind ourselves what it means to be whole again.

My relationship with our Shipibo Allies
Working with the Shipibo tradition is a privilege that I do not take lightly. The healers I work with — and their ancestors before them — have devoted their lives to cultivating, preserving, and transmitting this sacred knowledge. It is their gift to the world, and it deserves to be honored with integrity, respect, and reciprocity.
As part of my commitment to this path, I actively support the Shipibo healers and their families with whom I work — not only through fair and direct compensation for their work in our retreats, but also through ongoing personal relationships, care, and solidarity.
Between 2015 and 2021, I lived primarily in the Amazon, with or near one of my Shipibo teachers.
When I am in the Amazon, I am in their world, learning from them, sharing meals with them, and doing my best to show up as a respectful and grateful student.
I am also conscious of the broader context in which this work exists. The commercialization of plant medicine is accelerating, and with it comes real risks — to the healers, to the tradition, and to the integrity of the work itself.
My intention is always to keep True-Journey small, personal, and deeply rooted in authentic relationships with the lineage within which we work.
